I'll just let our customers speak for themselves:
Wow, how nice to have follow-up service! I was given our first Toi rain cape as a hand-me-down and was so impressed that when our second wee one came along I needed another. My three year old daughter wears the new red one and gets lots of comments from passersby when in town on a wet day about how cute she looks 'a la' "Little red riding hood" But what I am most impressed with is its practicality and ease of use. Do you make adult ones at all? I think they are a brilliant design. I'd like one!
Alison, Kaikoura
I find the baby cape very easy to use and it fits so well with all the various baby "vehicles". We have moved from Australia via Auckland to Wellington 6 mth ago. We find the weather a bit intimidating and knowing that the youngest is warm dry and snug means we can get out and about no matter what the weather.
Do you market your product in Australia?

Great Customer Feedback
It is wintery and raining here now and we are being cheered up by what our customers are saying:
"Thanks for your email, the cape has been a lifesaver, especially doing kindy drop off and pick up! I have used it over the capsule and as a proper cape on my baby (4 1/2 months old) and would definately recommend it to other parents (have had heaps of positive comments from other parents who have seen me using it) More than happy for you to use this on your website.

" re. the red Toi Cape we purchased - we mailed it as a gift to our new great niece who lives in North Carolina USA. She is their first born.
Her father, Timothy, emailed us when they received it.
He stated it was 'an interesting idea' - and 'it will come in handy this summer as we move into the rainy season'.
He asked us to thank you and to let you know that he thought the cape was the result of 'a stroke of genius'.
I know I tend to equate rain with cold temperatures but I can see that the lightness of the cape's fabric would probably be an advantage for those living in the hot muggy/damp summer weather of places such as North Carolina, as well as during their winters.

Our Fabulous Customers
Even after five years I am still blown away that busy Mums take the time to tell us what they think of Toi. This came in this morning:
Hi Marie
Yes, we are very happy with the jacket which has stood up well to the challenges of a New Zealand summer! It has proven to be very water proof and easy to clean. Also, my son is very impressed by the storage place for his ipod! But we are hoping there will be no great need for his jacket in the coming months - we have seen more than our fair share of rain this summer.
My daughter still uses hers Toi cape four years after being purchased, so we will be very pleased if the red jacket provides the same great service!
Many thanks,
Philippa.

Kindergarten Giveaway
Today we have started our first major direct marketing campaign for 2010. I am writing to 175 kindergartens in the South Island to offer them a Toi Cape if they put our brochures in the kids kindy bags. This is the 3rd year we have done this and the kindys use the cape for raffles, prizes etc to raise money. This kicks off our year with a bang and I love the contact with the teachers and the mums.

More Feedback

It hasn't been a great summer weather-wise which means that our rain gear has been getting a work out. Here is some more feedback we received yesterday.
Here is Lucy in her Toi coat while camping in the torrential rain for 3 days. Worked a treat and she looked so cute! Thought you might like to know it worked so well.

Customer Feedback

We are so lucky to have such amazing customers. Here is an email we got from one this week:
To: Barry
Subject: Re: Toi Design Follow Up
Hi Barry
The capes are great, very portable and easy to stuff in a bag so you have one handy when it decides to rain out of the blue (quite often this summer!). They are cost-effective too because they 'grow' with the child, I am using one for my baby and the other for my toddler and they will last for years. They are also very visible on a busy road, no danger of losing my son in his bright red one! I also get lots of nice comments from people about how cute the pair of them look!
Feel free to use any comment on your website.
Regards
Caroline
